Activating heritage collections for sustainable development

Join us for a participatory online experience to help leverage heritage collections worldwide as assets in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Together, we can create inclusive and transformative solutions to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Why it's needed

We are now well past the midway point of Agenda 2030, yet sustainable development challenges are not being met, and in many situations are going off track. Mobilizing heritage collections through stronger cross-sector partnerships is crucial for achieving these global goals.

Who should participate

This conference invites a diverse array of participants, including government representatives, local policymakers, professionals from museums, libraries, and archives, civil society organizations, and leaders from across sectors working to advance sustainable development. Community groups, students, researchers, faith leaders, and activists are also encouraged to join and engage in meaningful discussions.
